Privacy Policy

App Deco Studio Inc. cares about your privacy. This policy explains what data Sift handles, and how the third-party services it relies on are involved.

Your photos

Sift needs access to your photo library to show your photos and videos and to delete the ones you bin. Your photos are read on your device and are never uploaded, copied to our servers or shared with anyone. Sift stores a list of which items you've kept and which are in the bin, on your device only. You can change Sift's photo access at any time in iOS Settings.

Sift shows the place a photo was taken by converting its location into a place name with Apple's geocoding service. That request is made by your device and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Personal information

Sift doesn't collect personal information. There's no account to create, and no identifying details to provide.

Analytics

Sift uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage data, such as how many items were kept or binned in a session (in ranges, never the photos themselves), whether onboarding was completed, and how the paywall performs. This data isn't linked to you and contains no photos, locations or personal information. See TelemetryDeck's Privacy Policy. Apple may also share anonymous analytics with developers if you've turned on “Share With App Developers” in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Sift uses RevenueCat to manage Sift Pro. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier and your purchase information, so your purchase can be restored across devices. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Support requests

If you report a bug or request a feature through support.appdeco.ca, the details you enter (including your name, email and any screenshots you attach) are used only to respond to you and improve Sift.

Children

Sift isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it last changed.
